"Boarding The Ark'' won 2 Film Festival awards for best animation at CLIFF and Clean Shorts Film Festivals between 2015/2016 as well as a 2016 Bronze Audience Choice Award at the On the Edge Film Festival and has a custom soundtrack that was recorded at Abbey Studios. I was responsible for all aspects outside of the music soundtrack.
Boarding the Ark retells the story of Noah. Everyone knows that Noah receives orders from God to save a portion of the world’s creatures, while God hits the reset button and floods the Earth. In my version however, Noah becomes locked out of the Ark just as the flood begins and must discover a way back in using his superhuman skills as a carpenter. By using comedy, cartoony animation and an obviously different take on Noah’s Ark it allowed me to entertain people with a familiar Bible story.
